ESD panels

ESD panels:

Transparent plastic sheets, also called semi-finished products, with conductive properties are commonly called ESD sheets. They are individually tailored milled and also deformed in order to be used optimally.

The from PCC manufactured ESD panels are coated with STATEX® either on one side or on both sides. The conductivity can be individually set in the transparent range of 10⁶ Ω / sq to 10 Set Ω / sq. Common substrates are PMMA (acrylic), PC, SAN, PVC, PETG and PS.

Any color can also be set in the opaque area. Typical substrates here are PS white, PA, ABS, KYDEX, BAYBLEND and PP. Here are surface wiresistances from 10³ Ω / sq to 10¹ °Ω / sq adjustable.

In addition, both the transparent sheets and the opaque sheets can be mechanically brought into any desired shape and, to a certain extent, deep-drawn and otherwise thermally deformed.

Bioplastics can also be coated with conductive coatings. The panels can have dimensions of a maximum of 1020 x 3050 mm. The strength here is variable. The exceptionally good scratch resistance and excellent chemical resistance should also be mentioned.

This unmatched mixture of a large number of possible base substrates and an optimally adapted coating makes the PCC ESD panels unique on the market.

The "icing on the cake", however, is that with all the advantages the price is well below that of the well-known products.

Typical areas of application are:

  • Machine enclosures
  • Countertops in the electronics area
  • Clean room walls and ceilings
  • Protective housing in the chemical and oil / gas industry
  • casing
  • Robot fairing
  • Goods carrier (Trays)
  • Packaging solutions
