    Since their first use in the 1970s as simple status indicators, LEDs have experienced a meteoric rise. The light yield has increased year on year since the 1990s. The light yields which are possible today with comparatively low energy consumption make them unparalleled as a light source in all types of lighting. Whether it be a baby lamp or work light on the International Space Station. The LED has begun a march of triumph which is far from over, which has created applications which would have been unthinkable with conventional means of lighting.

    In order to be able to further develop the application diversity, we have set ourselves the objective of further improving and developing their properties by coating LED lights. But how do we want to achieve that? With the help of coating the lights! 

    The plastic or glass housing is generally the ‘bottleneck’ of this otherwise extensively developed technology. Aggressive media such as oil vapors and disinfectants destroy lamp bodies, sometimes in a shockingly short period of time. Safe use is no longer possible.

    Our chemical-resistant coating Multi Resist can help here, as it safely protects lights for years, and even decades.

    Light coating is also important in an ESD sensitive space, in order to protect electronics from surges. Or in an EX area to reliably prevent the accumulation of static discharges. Our LED light coating STATEX® safely solves the problem, cost-effectively and certified!

Protective layer for the highest demands

Highly transparent coating for all thermoplastics. It offers protection against aggressive media such as cleaning agents, oils, many solvents and other corrosive chemicals.

CLEAR COAT
Completely transparent sealing of LED boards

CLEAR COATmakes the circuit boards resistant to dust, moisture, chlorine vapors and other aggressive media in gas or liquid form.

Due to its special technology, CLEAR COATspray-applied.
This means that the process is extremely fast, inexpensive and reliably reaches EVERY point on the board WITHOUT air pockets or the like!
In addition, it is completely transparent, highly heat-resistant (155 ° C) and extremely UV-stable (5 years Transparency).
